This is our foundation.

1. THE SCRIPTURES – The Bible is the inspired Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16, 1 Thes. 2:13, 2 Pet. 1:21).

2. THE GODHEAD – We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Phil. 2:6, Matt. 3:16-17, John 1:1,14).

3. MAN, HIS FALL AND REDEMPTION – “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Jesus Christ was manifested to redeem and restore man back to God (Rom. 3:23, 3:9-10, 1 John 3:8, Gal. 3:13-14). Salvation is a free gift (Eph. 2:8).

4. ETERNAL LIFE AND NEW BIRTH – John 3:3 “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (2 Cor. 7:10, 1 John 5:12, Rom. 10:9).

5. WATER BAPTISM – Baptism in water by immersion (Matt. 28:19, Rom. 6:4, Col. 2:12, Acts 8:36-39).

6. BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT – A gift subsequent to the new birth with speaking in other tongues as an evidence. (Matt. 3:11, John 14:16-17, Acts 1:8, 2:4, 2:38-39, 19:1-7).

7. SANCTIFICATION – We believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of new birth (Heb. 12:14, 1 Thes. 5:23, 2 Pet. 3:18, 2 Cor. 3:18, Phil. 3:12-14, 1 Cor. 1:30).

8. DIVINE HEALING – Provided for in the atonement and the privilege of every believer (Mark 16:18, James 5:14-20, 1 Pet. 2:24, Matt. 8:17, Is. 53:4-5).

9. RESURRECTION OF THE JUST AND THE RETURN OF OUR LORD – When Jesus comes, “The dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air.” (Acts 1:11, 1 Thes. 4:16-17).

10. HELL AND ETERNAL RETRIBUTION – The one who physically dies in his sins without Jesus is hopelessly and eternally lost in the lake of fire and therefore has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel of for repentance (Heb. 9:27, Rev. 19:20, Heb. 6:12).

11. COMMUNION-THE LORD’S SUPPER – We partake of the Lord’s Supper to show the Lord’s death till He comes (1 Cor. 11:23-31, Is. 53:5, Heb. 9).

12. LAYING ON OF HANDS – For anointing (1 Tim. 4:14). As a blessing (Mark 10:13-16). For healing (Mark 5:22-23, 41, 5:28-31, Acts 28:8, 19:11-12). To confer office (Acts 6:2-6). To receive the Holy Ghost (Acts 8:16-18). For Ordination (1 Tim. 4:14).

13. THE VIRGIN BIRTH – Jesus Christ was born of a virgin. Her name was Mary and her conception was of the Holy Ghost (Lk 1:26-35).

14. THE BLOOD OF JESUS – Without the shed blood of Jesus Christ there is no remission of sin. His blood is the force and power behind our covenant (Heb. 9:14-22).
